About Dustie

Dustie is an osteopath in the truest sense of the word. She is also an educator, writer and therapeutic coach. She has spent the last 30 years working with patients from all walks of life and helped thousands to re-build their lives, health and relationships. 

Osteopathically, Dustie has spent decades researching lessons from the founding father of Osteopathy, Andrew Taylor Still, and his successors, William Garner Sutherland and John Martin Littlejohn, to develope a practice that originates from the core principles of this beautiful system of medicine. Understanding that osteopathy is fundamentally about the whole person and all that affects us as human beings; be that from within, as internal disharmony or from without, as an external stressor or injury, she has designed new techniques that support both body and mind.

Utilising her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, nutrition and holistic medicine, Dustie is able to guide her patients towards maximum health and performance, increasing vitality, maximising function and rebalancing the various systems of the body; always ready to do whatever research is necessary, to find answers and solutions that help her patients, no matter how complex. 

She also incorporates into her models of help, decades of self-directed learning in the fields of spirituality, mindfulness and philosophy. Long before it was trendy to use these terms as methods for coaching. 

Dustie has helped literally thousands of adults and children to live their lives harmoniously, through a system that encompasses all that she has experienced and learned over the years. Integrating the disciplines and philosophy of osteopathy and holistic medicine with the directions of the great masters and thinkers. To understanding that the human body, when nurtured and well-aligned, has the inherent ability to self-regulate and self-heal. 

Dustie is a patient and deeply spiritual person, grateful for all that life delivers. Living by the rules of nature, respecting all life forms and practicing daily, mindfulness, yoga and meditation.
