WHEN YOU’RE TRYING TO EXPAND AND PEOPLE CAN’T SEE YOUR VALUE.
There’s a moment in every woman’s career when she feels unseen.
Unappreciated.
Possibly even used.
It’s a bitter pill when you know how much you’ve poured in—and no one seems to notice.
I recently reminded a coaching client of something I believe to my core:
When that moment hits, don’t get bitter.
Get brilliant.
Here’s what I told her…
Stop focusing on the money—for now.
Yes, I said it.
When you focus on whether someone sees your value before you’ve had a chance to show them, you’ll only feel frustrated. You know your work changes lives. But they don’t… yet.
So give them a reason to never forget you.
Add value like your life depends on it.
Be the woman who walks in and changes the energy of the room.
Do your best work, even when it’s hard.
Not to prove anything to them—but to prove something to yourself.
Because when you show up like that, three things happen:
- You learn.
- You grow.
- You earn the right to choose.
Whether to stay, to go, to raise your prices, or to walk away with your head high.
There are 3 types of professionals:
- Those who expect recognition before delivering results.
- Those who give too much because they don’t believe in their worth.
- And the rare ones—the top 5%—who lead with service, consistency, and quiet confidence. They don’t chase validation. They become undeniable.
So if you’re in the middle of a tough experience right now, I want you to remember this:
Take notes. Learn. Play the game.
Be kind. Be honest. Be professional.
Fall down. Get up. Keep going.
Because when the curtain falls, you want to be able to say:
“I gave that my everything. I did the best I could, hands down. I learned, I grew, and now… I get to choose.”

You’ve got this.
