Ignite Your Heart on Life’s Journey

2nd February 2026.

I’ve studied personal development for four decades. Curious about the human mind and the power of intuition.

It started as a child, when I reached out to God; without a prompt from peer or parent. I just felt compelled to listen to my “heart”.

I was fortunate enough to grow up with a chapel at the end of my street. And in those days it stayed open all day. So, I could wander up at any time to find solace and calm.

Sometimes I’d go for the words, but mostly for the silence. Just to listen… To be.

I’d look up at the big windows. The colourful glass. And breathe in the silence. The pews were strong and solid. The fragrance, historic. It was my safe space.

Let me be clear, I didn’t go to church because I had to. I went because I wanted to. I felt overwhelming compelled. I went alone. I sat at the front. And I just listened. Taking in the wonder of its stories, no matter who was there (or not). That was the start of my relationship with Source.

I knew, without any doubt, that life was sacred. That inside each and all of us is a spark that makes us special. And I wanted to find out how that worked.

I was fortunate enough to have a mother who let me live by my own instincts, even though she wasn’t a “believer” and feel blessed about that. She knew I had my own mission to fill and she trusted me to find it.

Fast forward to today. I have read many thousands of books. Attended more seminars and webinars than most people could imagine. I have been a sponge to life’s tools from birth. And from all that I have read and learned I can tell you this. The success to life is not in your head. It’s in your heart.

I have watched millions of people striving for success over the years, but the ones who truly succeed worry not about the “how”, they just know their “what”.

They know, that deep inside their heart is a mission to complete, and they know unwaiveringly what they need. From there, they take one step at a time in the direction of their dream.

Others may mock them. Tell them they’re being unrealistic, But they just keep going. Regardless. They rise, they fall, they keep going. And in the end they find a way to win.

If you have a calling, I urge you to follow it. Don’t worry about the how. Just take one baby step at a time and trust the road will find you.

This my friend is your North Star. And it is the one thing you have that no one else does, so it’s not to be ignored.

An invitation:

Create a playlist of music that feels right for you. A list of music to take you through a range of emotions; like a journey of the soul. Choose tunes that start playfully and make you unwind. Use rhythms that make your body want to move. Next, choose something motivational or inspiring. And then calm and still. Think of it as your audio playground.
Once created, put your phone, watch and laptop in another room. Turn all sound notifications off!
Next, remove the noise called life. Declutter your mind, using the breath.
Remove doubt… and fear.
Just trust.
Close your eyes. Put your headphones on and press, play.
Let your mind drift… and watch where you go.

Happy travels.
